Terms of Use & Service Agreement: RgvLaw.Com shall be free to the online viewer. There shall be no fees, and no referral fees shall be charged at any time. RgvLaw.Com is not an attorney referral service and does not refer specific potential clients to any attorney nor the reverse unless the same is done freely and from a randomly rotating name database based on areas of practice as posted on RgvLaw.Com. We can only offer attorney names from those who list their areas of practice with us. There is no referral agreement made between RgvLaw.Com and any attorney, and referrals shall be given without a fee to the general public as names associated with areas of practice, not in endorsement of any lawyer. This page defines the online viewer terms of use and the basic service agreement between the online visitor and RgvLaw.Com. Fees are paid by attorneys who subscribe to annual listing on RgvLaw.Com at either the basic rate of 10 cents per day for the basic listing or 25 cents per day for a sub-domain website. All third party websites are independent though linked to or hosted by RgvLaw.Com. The online user of the Rio Grande Valley Law Directory as a online reference source accepts as a condition of using the same that the information found at RgvLaw.Com is subject to change at any time without notice. The directory shall be updated year round, and we welcome e-mail to make any corrections at any time or to change a listing. Please report any odd links and we will correct them right away.
RgvLaw.Com provides FREE directory information about Rio Grande Valley attorneys via each text listing, with an optional interview on a one page sub-domain website, or full website registration, development, and hosting. Website info and updates are provided by the owner of each website, and it is the policy of RgvLaw.Com to accept such information as accurate and true, and to place the information online. Our posting is limited to public information that may include the following: name of professional corporation, names of principals, address, location, areas of law practiced, contact telephone numbers, any photographs of business location, any illustrations, video, or audio, useful in presenting online data about the law office. Any other information that can be properly and verifiably presented can be included, including reference links while current. The intent of the text listing with the one page website and the full name domain registration with website design and hosting service is to inform rather than advertise. Information is the commodity. Information is what the online viewer seeks in order to make a better decision.
We ask that each law office provide attorney information including biographical sketches and photographs and update info at anytime during a paid subscription. We are in the process of visiting every attorney in the Rio Grande Valley at least by phone in order to get our interview questions and to take a clear photograph of the attorney in a work setting. To develop a website we at minimum need the name of the firm or practice, address, and telephone numbers. We can provide you with a comprehensive questionnaire but if you prefer to provide your own info in your own way we suggest the use of photographs, biographical sketches, and a description of areas of law practiced. Properly presented, this info educates potential clients and enables realistic expectations prior to making an appointment. We will post articles written by attorneys, whether previously published or not, case histories, and any information that might be useful or of interest to a potential client visiting the law office online. There is no limit on how much information a law firm can offer. We are aware that people find websites on the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and year round, so what we want is an interesting while also informative website that is constantly updated. This we pledge to accomplish.

The reason for this is that we can only base our referrals on stated areas of practice. An attorney who has not upgraded his or her listing to include areas of practice cannot be in the RgvLaw.Com random name database because we lack the information on which to base a referral. If we provide a list of attorneys to anyone seeking a referral, only the seeker makes a decision as to which attorney on the list to call for an appointment. All transactions between online viewers and any attorneys listed here are solely at the discretion of the parties. RgvLaw.Com is a neutral and separate entity as a directory or FREE referral service.. Remember that there is no attorney/client relationship formed by visiting the attorney’s website, or the website of any law firm, or RgvLaw.Com. RgvLaw.Com does not endorse any law firm or attorney but will build an informative web presence for all to aid the online viewer in making an informed choice. The sole purpose of the website information is to provide the viewer a research tool useful in selecting the proper law firm for his cause or litigation. The rate for a BASIC attorney text listing is 10 cents (10˘) per day. The rate for a one page sub-domain website is only 25 cents (25˘) per day billed annually. You then receive the text listing for free. We offer the Premium complete website service for one dollar ($1) per day. and here is how we divide the dollar: to the previous cost of 25 cents (25˘) we add 50 cents (50˘) per day for complete multi-page website development of a name domain, a unique website. This includes initial registration of the name domain and development of the website. The other 25 cents (25˘) per day are applied so that we can go one step further: we submit the developed law office website to hundreds of search engines so that over time the name surfaces when people on the internet search for professionals in the given area of practice (as listed by the use of keywords) and in the specific geographical area, which in this case is the Rio Grande Valley. If the legal professional or law firm already has a website we automatically supply a link from the text listing. IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING WEBSITE ALL YOU NEED TO SIGN UP FOR IS THE BASIC TEXT LISTING AT 10 CENTS (10˘) PER DAY. The copyright for any text or portion of text on each website is retained by it’s author. Hosting must be on our servers unless we are only linking to an existing professional quality website. E-mail links are provided as part of the hosting package in whatever quantity are needed by each law firm, and each website is assigned it’s settings for use with Outlook or Outlook express or any Pop3 e-mail engine. Remember that e-mail is not secure anywhere on the web unless you use a secure encryption key, which we can provide. Talk about that with us directly. If not using secure encryption then a fax is more secure for transmission of critical information. Remember that all unencoded e-mail is subject to interception by third parties and RgvLaw.Com is expressly not liable for an individual’s usage of e-mail. Website file space will never be an issue, as each law firm will be given as much space as it needs as their website grows. We are able to provide streaming media at a slight extra fee.
